Kimberly
Payne Greenwood is President of Greenwood Productions,
Inc. which holds the State Licenses for the
MISS USA & MISS TEEN USA State Pageants
in Tennessee and Georgia. She serves as the
Executive Director of the Pageants.
Kim was Tennessee's Junior Miss in 1985 and
Miss Tennessee USA in 1989. Kim holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of
Arts
degree in Communication from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
As a performer, she has traveled to over 20 countries and entertained
the U.S. troops on four USO tours including a tour to the North Atlantic
where she met her husband, entertainer and Grammy award winner Lee
Greenwood. She is very involved with community, church,
political and educational projects and enthusiastically supports the
Tennessee Character Counts program, a school-based character building
program for young people. The Greenwoods have two sons, Dalton and
Parker, and reside in Sevierville, Tennessee, a community in the
foothills of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
Kim holds her license for the Tennessee and Georgia
USA events with the Miss Universe Organization, producers
of the MISS UNIVERSE®,
MISS USA®, and MISS TEEN USA® competitions. The Miss
Universe Organization is an international company that advances and
supports today's women. These women are savvy, goal-oriented and aware.
The delegates who become part of the Miss Universe Organization display
those characteristics in their everyday lives, both as individuals
who participate in the competitions to advance their careers, personal
and humanitarian goals, and as women who seek to improve the lives
of others.
