Tucker
Nichol Perry is currently a student at Belmont University
in Nashville, TN majoring in Commercial Music – Voice
Performance. She is immersed daily in a rigorous
schedule of voice lessons, music theory, and performance
classes among her general education classes.
Living in the heart of Nashville, Tucker has had
many opportunities to be involved in the entertainment
industry. Appearing in numerous music videos (Taylor
Swift’s “Teardrops on My Guitar” and
Martina McBride’s “Anyway), as well as
working as a stand in for Vanessa Williams and Tyra
Banks in Hannah Montana: The Movie, has given Tucker
what she considers to be incredible on-camera experience.
Also, through her involvement with the Big Brothers
Big Sisters program, she was able to sing at the
historic Ryman Auditorium.
Tucker has been actively involved with the Big Brothers
Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee program for almost
5 years and is excited to continue to promote the
importance of mentorship as Miss Tennessee USA .
She wishes to continue to raise awareness of the
need for mentors and positive influences in the lives
of children across the globe. She feels that, without
the support of her family and friends, she would
not be the person who she is today, and that every
child should have that opportunity to experience
the same.
She enjoys singing, writing songs, acting, performing,
playing guitar, Ashtanga yoga, playing basketball,
wakeboarding, and volunteering. Tucker’s goals
are to one day become a major recording artist, to
headline her own world tour, and to inspire others
in the same way she has been inspired.
Tucker will be 21 years old when she represents the
State of Tennessee at the Miss USA Pageant held on
April 18, 2010, televised live on NBC at Planet Hollywood
in Las Vegas.
