Natalie
Phillips was crowned Miss Tennessee Teen USA 2008
on October 6, 2007 at Austin Peay State University
in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Natalie is sixteen years old. Born and raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She
is currently a junior at Siegel High School where she is in the Drama Club and
on the Announcement Team. She is actively involved in Young Life and says that
Young Life has played a major role in making her the teenager she is today.
One of Natalie’s passions is dancing. She has been dancing since she was
three years old. She loves all types of dance especially jazz, lyrical and hip
hop. Natalie also loves going to the lake, working out and hanging out with friends
in her spare time.
Natalie plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University and major in Mass Communications.
Her dream job would be to co-host The Today Show or have her own talk show like
Oprah Winfrey.
Natalie is looking forward to her year as Miss Tennessee Teen USA. Her goal is
to use this opportunity to be a role model for young girls throughout Tennessee.
Her favorite causes are the True Love Waits campaign and the D.A.R.E. program,
and she hopes to make an impact on teenager’s lives through these programs.
Natalie will be competing in the 2008 Miss Teen USA pageant this spring. She
hopes to bring the title home to Tennessee.
